The present invention relates to a pressure retarded osmosis membrane with an enhanced pressure resistance, and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of a pressure retarded osmosis membrane according to the present invention has advantage of satisfying the high flux requirement while maintaining an enhanced pressure resistance. Furthermore, the pressure retarded osmosis membrane of the present invention can achieve a high salt exclusion rate, and can prevent the solute of an inducing solution from reverse diffusing toward the reverse osmosis direction. The pressure retarded osmosis membrane manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention can provide a high flux and the power density.
