<p>The present invention relates to a touch screen device and a driving method thereof. The touch screen device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a touch screen panel which includes Tx lines, Rx lines, and touch sensors formed on an intersection portion of the Tx lines and the Rx lines, wherein the touch sensors are divided into a plurality of blocks; a touch panel drive circuit which supplies driving pulses to the Tx lines of each block in a block sensing mode at the same time, shifts and supplies the driving pulse in a block unit, and outputs a total charge amount of the touch sensors of each block as block touch raw data; and a touch block detection unit which corrects the block touch raw data by using block reference data and detects a touch block with a touch from the corrected block touch raw data.</p> |
