The present invention relates to an organic light emitting display device, wherein multiple inorganic thin layers are formed; a protection layer is formed by forming an organic material layer in limited spaces between the inorganic thin layers; and a sealant and a cap are laminated on the front surface of the protection layer to increase reliability of encapsulation; and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the organic light emitting display device comprises: an organic light emitting device formed on a substrate; a first protection layer formed to cover the light emitting device and a part of the substrate; a second protection layer formed on the first protection layer; a third protection layer formed on the first protection layer and the second protection layer to cover the second protection layer and the first protection layer; a sealant layer formed on the third protection layer; and a seal cap arranged on the sealant layer.
