The present invention relates to a method for heating a toilet seat and a bidet using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the bidet comprises: a toilet seat which includes an opening in the center and is sat by a user when a user uses a toilet; a seat cover which opens and closes the upper part of the toilet seat by rotating along a fixated hinge unit; a toilet seat heater heating the toilet seat according to an inputted toilet heating signal; a warm wind unit providing warm wind generated according to an inputted warm wind signal for the opening; a human body sensing unit generating a human body sensing signal when sensing access of a user; and a control unit which performs an initial heating operation for the toilet seat by outputting the toilet seat heating signal and the warm wind signal if the toilet seat is closed and the human body signal is inputted.
