The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for processing a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) message, and more particularly to a method for processing an HTTP message, capable of downloading information desired by a user from a web server to provide the desired information to the user, and an apparatus thereof. The method for processing the HTTP message includes steps of detecting input of an URL; transmitting, to a network, first request messages including the input URL and at least one expectation URL corresponding to the input URL when the at least one expectation URL is included in a redesignation history DB; receiving first response messages corresponding to the first request messages from the network; determining whether a success message of the first response messages is valid; and determining that data of the success message is a resource to be provided to a user when the success message is valid.
