According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for connecting a lever type cable of a pump to connect a cable for transmitting power and a control signal to a pump comprises an outer cover part for covering the circumference of a cable terminal equipped in the cable; a port equipped in the pump and into which the outer cover part is inserted in order to connect the cable terminal to a pump terminal equipped in the pump; and a lever for connecting the cable terminal to the pump terminal, or separating the cable terminal from the pump terminal, by moving the outer cover part from the port according to rotation direction by rotatably combining the end of the port with the upper and lower parts. Therefore, the present invention has an effect for attaching or detaching the pump on the cable and securely fixing the pump to the cable.
