The present invention relates to a telephone through which a call history of a person desired to call can be checked before calling and user′s convenience is increased. To this end, the telephone according to the present invention includes a communications module for communications with an external device, a control unit controlling the communications; a display unit displaying a proceeding state of the communications; an input unit receiving a command from a user; and a storage unit storing call history data, wherein, when receiving a phone number from the input unit and determining that the full phone number is received, the control unit searches the storage unit for the corresponding call history data with the external device and displays the data on the display unit. Accordingly, according to the present invention, a call history with an opponent can be easily known without additional manipulation before calling to the opponent and be helpful to respond to the call. |
