The present invention relates to an LCD apparatus including a pair of liquid crystal panels and capable of displaying a stereoscopic image without polarized glasses. The LCD apparatus includes: a first liquid crystal panel assembly; a second liquid crystal panel assembly disposed separate from and parallel with the first liquid crystal panel assembly at the rear side of the first liquid crystal panel assembly; a brightness enhancement film disposed opposite to the second liquid crystal panel assembly; a backlight unit disposed at the rear side of the second liquid crystal panel assembly; a first image signal control unit controlling a first image signal corresponding to a first image displayed on the first liquid crystal panel; and a second image signal control unit controlling a second image signal corresponding to a second image displayed on the second liquid crystal panel. A second polarization film attached to the front surface of the second liquid panel assembly has a pre-determined polarization angle difference from the first polarization film attached to the front surface of the first liquid crystal panel assembly, and haze thereof is in between 30% to 50%. |
