摘要 In a liquid crystal display device having a touch panel function, the calibration of intersection capacitance is efficiently carried out. The liquid crystal display device where pixels are arranged with a matrix shape includes a first substrate, a second substrate, liquid crystal interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a detection circuit. The second substrate has the detection electrode of the touch panel. Each pixel has a pixel electrode and a counter electrode. The counter electrode is divided into a plurality of blocks. The counter electrode of each divided block is commonly installed to each pixel of successive display lines. The counter electrode of each divided block is used as a scan electrode of the touch panel. The detection circuit is installed in each detection electrode. The end part of the detection circuit has a calibration capacitive element connected to each detection electrode. In a touch position detection process, a calibration voltage is supplied to the other end part of each calibration capacitive element.
