Disclosed are a method for direct multi-cast communications between terminals in a cellular mobile communications system and an apparatus thereof. The method for direct multi-cast communications between terminals can include the steps of transmitting a server designation request message requesting to be registered to a server terminal to a base station; and transmitting service information by using a multi-cast or broadcast communications method for direct communications between terminals based on wireless resources allocated by the base station.
