The present invention relates to a pitman arm connection structure, which includes: a sector shaft linked to a steering column; a pitman arm for delivering a rotary force of the sector shaft to a drag link by being fixed to the sector shaft; a stator for fixing the sector shaft and the pitman arm; a solenoid for applying a fixed force to the stator by being prepared at the end of the stator; and a spring prepared between the stator and the solenoid. The pitman arm connection structure releases fixing of the sector shaft and the pitman arm according to separation of the stator due to the force of the spring as a magnetic force from the solenoid is released in case of collision. Thus, the pitman arm connection structure can reduce injury by preventing a spoke of a steering wheel from being crashed to the breast of a driver in advance, by preventing rotation of the steering wheel due to rotation of the pitman arm and the sector shaft according to frame deformation, because the pitman arm connection structure can release fixing of the pitman arm and the sector shaft promptly even though the frame deformation occurs due to vehicle collision. |
