The present invention relates to an electric vehicle and a control method thereof, which outputs a predetermined similar engine sound from a moving vehicle. The present invention can not only easily recognize the vehicle in response to the acoustic to which a pedestrian can easily recognize, but also improves the safety by allowing to estimate the size of the vehicle with only the acoustic by measuring the size of the vehicle, by setting a sound source corresponding to the size of the vehicle, and by outputting a different acoustic depending on the size of the vehicle. |
