PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing doxorubicin and gamitrinib as active ingredients is provided to minimize side effects of doxorubicin and to safely and effectively treat various cancers. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer contains doxorubicin and gamitrinib as active ingredients, in a weight ratio of 10:1-1:10. . Gamitrinib includes gamitrinib G1, G2, G3, G4, or TPP(triphenyl phosphonium). The pharmaceutical composition relieves cardiotoxicity due to doxorubicin. The cancer is selected from the group consisting of bladder cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, thyroid cancer, uterine cervix cancer, central nerve cancer, glioblastoma, liver cancer, skin cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, epithelial cancer, blood cancer, prostate cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, and multiple sclerosis.
