The present invention relates to a headcover for a gas mask which has a purification case for purifying air to supply purified air through the purification case to the inside and has a discharge valve for discharging the inside air to the outside for allowing air to flow. The present invention provides a headcover for a gas mask and a method for manufacturing the same. The head cover for a gas mask of the present invention includes: a headcover body which is formed of a composite clothing sheet made up of a fiber layer and a chemical-resistant film layer which form outer and inner sides, respectively, wherein the edge of the film layer comprising the inner surface of the composite clothing sheet is overlapped and fused to form a pocket by forming a sealing wing, and has an engagement hole through which the purification case is connected, and a lens hole formed in the front side; a transparent lens which is fixated to the headcover for shielding the lens hole of the headcover to be visible; a lens fastener for integrally fixating the transparent lens to the film layer of the composite clothing sheet which forms the inner side of the headcover body; a shield which is horizontally arranged inside the headcover, accommodates the head inside and shields the lower part of the headcover by elastically sealing the neck; a coupling unit which is formed in the engagement hole for integrally coupling the purification case to the engagement hole; and a tightening band which are engaged to both ends of the coupling unit while surrounding the back side of the headcover body and closely tightening the back side of the headcover body to the head by pulling of the both ends. |
