The present invention relates to a polyester composite yarn with excellent shrinkage property and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a polyester composite yarn having soft, drape property, and non-contractibility of knitting and a manufacturing method thereof. The polyester composite yarn of the present invention has excellent softness, drape property, and non-contractibility when producing the knitting. Furthermore, the present invention can devise productivity and a reduction in cost because a composite yarn process does not subjected to need an extra interlaced processing.
