A smart card, a mobile communication terminal in which the same is mounted and a channel establishing method thereof are provided to guarantee the normal operation of an application applet constructed on the smart card through the security of channel resources. A terminal body unit(100) receives a channel correspondingly to a channel establishment request. After performing a data communications process through the allocated channel, the terminal body unit generates a channel release request. A smart card unit(200) assigns a channel in response to the channel establishment request, and releases the allocated channel in response to the channel release request. In case channel resources are insufficient, after releasing a channel which is firstly established, the smart card unit newly allocates the released channel. |
