<p>The invention relates to an improved ski carrier of the type that is mounted on the upper part of a vehicle, characterised in that it comprises an assembly formed by a base part consisting of a central portion and two fixing bodies, and an upper arm comprising a central portion and two end casings, where the base part and the upper arm are coupled securely at the ends thereof by a combination of engaging means arranged on the casings of the upper arm and locking means positioned on the fixing bodies of the base part respectively, such that, when either of the ends of the ski carrier is unlocked, the upper arm pivots about a pivot pin located at the opposite end, the ski carrier being suitable for receiving and securely holding a plurality of skis, snowboards or similar items therein.</p> |
