The present invention discloses refrigeration system for a refrigerated vehicle in which a main refrigerator and a sub refrigerator are selectively driven by a control mod thereby efficiently freezing a loading room and a control method thereof. The refrigerated vehicle of the present invention comprises an engine, a transmission, a starting device having a starting key for starting the engine, an electronic control device for controlling engine drive, a generator for generating power driven by driving power of the engine, a vehicle battery charged by power of the generator, and a loading room for loading products. In addition, more specifically, a main refrigerator, a sub refrigerator, a refrigerator battery, a temperature sensor, a refrigerator switch, a refrigeration control device, and voltage detector are provided. |
