The present invention relates to a sliding-moving device of a vehicle seat which includes a pair of screw rods which is fixed to a vehicle body and which includes a male screw thread is formed on the outer circumference; a pair of gear boxes which receives a rotational force and which is joined to a vehicle seat while moving along the screw rods; and a driving motor which transmits the rotational force to the gear boxes. The gear box includes a worm wheel including female screw threads which are engaged with the male screw threads of the screw rods and worm screw threads are formed on the outer circumference; a worm shaft which rotates while being engaged with the worm screw threads of the worm wheel; a housing unit which at least two partial housing units are joined to form an inner receiving space and receives the worm shaft and the worm wheel and which includes holes through which the screw rods penetrate; and a metal fixing frame which partially encloses three surfaces of the housing unit and which the female screw threads having a pitch identical to the male screw threads of the screw rods are formed to be separated from the hole through which the screw rods penetrate in a radius direction. Although the vehicle seat is tilted by power caused by inertia in the case of a vehicle accident, the female screw threads of the metal fixing frame are interfered with the male screw threads of the screw rods when the screw rods are bent and transformed then the forward movement of the metal fixing frame which is moved with the vehicle seat is prevented so the seat is prevented from being pulled forward. Therefore, the sliding-moving device can protect passengers more safely. |
