Disclosed are a voltage balancing device and a method of a secondary battery cell. The voltage balancing device of the secondary battery cell according to the present invention includes an auxiliary power storage unit electrically connected to a plurality of secondary battery cells included in a battery pack; a voltage sensing unit measuring each voltage of the secondary battery cells and the auxiliary power storage unit; an auxiliary charging unit applying charging power to the auxiliary power storage unit; a switching unit with a plurality of switches which are interposed between the secondary battery cells and the auxiliary power storage unit and between the auxiliary power storage unit and the auxiliary charging unit so as to electrically connect the one of the secondary battery cells to the auxiliary power storage unit or electrically connect the auxiliary power storage unit to the auxiliary charging unit; and a control unit. |
