The present invention relates to a pricking apparatus that is used to discharge air from the side wall which is a semi-finished tire product produced after an extrusion process during tire manufacturing and, more particularly, to a punching type pricking apparatus for a side wall in which a pricking operation is performed while the widening of a pricking hole is prevented during a pricking effect on the side wall. The pricking apparatus for a side wall according to the present invention has multiple pricking pins (2) mounted around a rotating roll (1) and process a pricking hole (101) of a side wall (100) while rotating with the rotating roll (1) so as to remove and discharge the inner residual air in the extruded side wall (100). The pricking pins (2) are moved with the rotating roll (1) along a surface (3a) of a fixed cam shaft (3) of the rotating roll (1) while rotating and are recessed or protrudes by moving along the surface (3a) of the fixed cam shaft (3) with an elastic force of a spring (5) in a hole (4) which is formed in the cylindrical circumferential surface (1a) of the rotating roll (1). |
