Disclosed by the present invention is an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine which includes: an input terminal unit which is connected to a power supply of the outside; a tube-shaped primary spool which is combined to be attachable and detachable to the input terminal unit and is formed in a hollow hole from an upper end connected to the external power supply to a lower end combined with an ignition spark; a primary coil which is wound around the primary spool outer circumference surface; a secondary spool which is inserted into and combined with the hollow hole which is arranged in the primary spool; a secondary coil which is wound around the surface of a secondary spool outer circumference; a central core which is mounted in the secondary spool; insulating paper which insulates by being arranged between the central core and the secondary spool; and a buffer member which buffers a thermal stress which generates in epoxy which is hardened in the central core and the outside of the central core when driving an engine by being filled between the central core and the insulating paper. The forementioned composition is able to prevent the degradation of the output voltage and insulation of the central core which is arranged in the ignition coil for an internal combustion engine and also prevent a crack from being generated in epoxy which is filled between members. |
