<p>The rod (10) has a shaft (11) for insertion and housing of an implant, where the shaft is arranged at an upper surface (13) of the rod. The shaft comprises a threaded portion for cooperating with a corresponding thread of the implant. The shaft presents direction that is approximately perpendicular to the upper surface of the rod. The shaft includes a lower extension (15) under its lower surface (14). The threaded portion extends partially in the lower extension.
