The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a tea brick which makes a dough by adding the minimum amount of water for kneading to dried tea leaves pulverized into the particle size of 100-500 meshes and sequentially performs kneading, making the dough thin, air drying, and heat drying; and a tea brick manufactured by the manufacturing method. The tea brick has advantages of the convenience of using and storing like conventional tea bag products, reduces the consumption of raw materials required for tea bag production, appears a clean and fresh color by keeping the shape of the tea brick when being brewed the tea brick in hot water, and makes various flavored teas by being easily blended with various ingredients.
