DEVELOPMENT OF A MICROBIAL INHIBITION TEST WITH INDICATOR TO DETECT RESIDUAL FLUOROQUINOLONES IN FOOD

The present invention relates to a development of a test kit for residual fluoroquinolone antibiotics in livestock products such as milk by using a microorganism susceptible to fluoroquinolone antibiotics through optimization of a growth condition, development of a medium, a development of an indicator, and the like. The present invention is optimized for screening test by minimizing a deviation of detection sensitivity for a number of antibiotics belonging to fluoroquinolone class when compared to the conventional antibody-derived detection kit. By providing a detection method using the kit, the present invention can be usefully applied to detect residual fluoroquinolone antibiotics in livestock products such as milk and to prevent contamination of foods.
