The present invention relates to a GTL carrier and an operating method for a GTL carrier and, more particularly, to a GTL carrier and an operating method for a GTL carrier, which can reduce fuel costs using GTL fuel and condensates, that is, products of GTL FPSO, as fuel of a GTL carrier, can make better use of a space by using the GTL fuel as fuel of a fuel cell in order to removing an additional facility compared with other cases of using different fuel, can minimize noise and vibration and increase generation efficiency, can easily satisfy a ship exhaust gas reference using clean GTL fuel with small emissions of CO_2, NOx, SOx, and dust, and can increase the efficiency of fuel consumption using the GTL fuel and the condensates selectively according to the ship exhaust gas reference, or coastal water or the ocean. The GTL carrier comprises: a GTL storage tank which is installed in a hull in order to store GTL fuel; a condensate storage tank which is installed in the hull in order to store condensates; a fuel cell system which generates electric power by receiving the GTL fuel stored in the GTL storage tank; an engine which generates electric power by receiving the condensate stored inside the condensate storage tank, and a motor which operates the electric power generated by the fuel cell system and the engine.
