Provided are a method and a device for providing the security of access control entities (electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) components) after arranging a host device on which the access control entities will be used. In an embodiment, provided are an approval certificate and a dedicated device key which can be used to provide new eSIM or to update the field of a user device in a wireless (example, cellular) user device. The user device relies on eSIM materials transmitted to a unidentified third party eSIM bender based on security certificate transmission by a device key. In another aspect, an operating system (OS) is divided into various parts or sand boxes. During operation, the user device can execute and activate the OS in the sand box corresponding to the current wireless network. Personal packages received in the access to the network are applied to the sand box only. Similarly, when eSIM is loaded, the OS is necessary to load a software list which is necessary for the current runtime environment. The unused software can be activated according to the follow-up. |
