The invention relates to a rotary working member (100) for an electric household food preparation appliance, including a pressing screw (7) having two interleaved main threads (71a, 71b), each main thread (71a, 71b) being extended by a free upper portion (75a, 75b) forming at least one passage (76a, 76b) with an upper leading edge (74b, 74a) of the other free upper portion (75b, 75a), each free upper portion (75a, 75b) having an intermediate bearing surface (77a, 77b) that is set back from the upper leading edge (74a, 74b). According to the invention, each intermediate bearing surface (77a, 77b) is extended by a lower side recess (78a, 78b) extending at least partially under the upper leading edge (74b, 74a) of the other free upper portion (75b, 75a), the lower side recess (78a, 78b) forming a discontinuity relative to the intermediate bearing surface (77a, 77b).
