According to the present invention, a method for authenticating a customer using an authentication certificate which is performed by a server capable of communicating with a wired terminal and a wireless terminal used by a customer via a designated communication path using an authentication certificate comprises: identifying a customer identifier transmitted by a wired terminal used by the customer; receiving authentication information transmitted from a wireless terminal of a customer corresponding to the customer identifier; performing an authentication process to verify the validity of the received authentication information; and processing the authentication result of the authentication information as an authentication result of a customer corresponding the customer identifier, wherein the authentication information includes information generated through data processing or structural transformation using the customer authentication certificate installed in a memory unit in the wireless terminal or an IC chip which is detachable from the wireless terminal or is linked through a reader. |
