Disclosed is a threshold protection cover for a door frame which can be easily mounted on the top surface of a threshold on the door frame installed on a wall defining an indoor space of a building to support a door during a building construction; firmly maintain the state whereby the cover is mounted on the threshold by a steel piece or a wire without performing banding, binding or welding; can easily be detached from the threshold after the building construction is finished; and can be recycled. A vertical surface is formed below an inner surface and an outer surface, and a door base surface having the same width as the thickness of the door is horizontally bent outwardly from an upper end of the vertical surface. An upward inclined surface is formed from the upper end of the vertical surface toward the inside. A horizontal surface is formed inwardly from an inner side end of the inclined surface. A second vertical surface having a desired height is formed on a portion from the inner end of the horizontal surface to an outer end of the door base surface. In both left and right ends of the second vertical surface, the remaining portion except for one side is cut in a c-shape. The other side which is not cut is bent inwardly toward a packing groove on the threshold to form a first locking piece locked to a lower portion of the horizontal surface on the threshold corresponding to an upper surface of the packing groove. The surface of the first locking piece is formed with a tool insertion hole into which a tool is inserted when the cover is detached. |
