In the present invention, it has been first established that CBR1 functions as a colorectal cancer growth and metastasis inducing factor and has been confirmed that CBR 1 is overexpressed in the colorectal cancer cell line; and as a result of inhibiting CBR1 expression in the colorectal cancer cell line, cell growth, cancer cell invasion, cell mobility, and substrate attachment are reduced and cell signaling associated with FAK/c-Src is also reduced. Therefore, a material to inhibit the expression or activation of CBR 1 can be used to prevent and treat colorectal cancer. |
