The present invention relates to a reduction method for a UO2 sintered density decrease by adding U3O8. The reduction method for the UO2 sintered density decrease by adding U3O8 comprises a step of manufacturing U3O8 powder by oxidizing a UO2 scrap (step 1); a step of crushing the U3O8 manufactured in the step1 (step 2); a step of adding and mixing the U3O8 powder crushed in the step 2 in UO2 powder (step 3); a step of manufacturing a molded by molding the mixed powder in the step 3 (step 4); and a step of sintering the molded body manufactured in the step 4 under reducing gas atmosphere (step 5).
