<p>Use of an extract of Einkorn wheat ( Triticum monococcum) (I), as active agent for activating synthesis of the extracellular matrix protein of the skin, in a cosmetic composition comprising a medium for fighting against the appearance of signs of skin aging originating from the degradation of the extracellular matrix, is claimed. An independent claim is included for an extract of Einkorn wheat ( Triticum monococcum) obtained by contacting crushed seeds or flour of (I) Einkorn wheat ( Triticum monococcum) with an aqueous solution, under agitation, successively hydrolyzing the mixture using proteases and then purifying by filtration, and separating low molecular weight compounds by ultrafiltration. - ACTIVITY : Dermatological. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : Extracellular matrix protein activator; Collagen I synthesis stimulator; Collagen III synthesis stimulator; Fibronectin synthesis stimulator.</p> |
