The holder has a decorative support for a candle, where the support is realized from a precut collapsible blank (13) that is made in a standard paperboard material. The blank is provided with an approximate rectangular form, and comprises four folding lines (15a-15d) placed at a height of the holder to delimit a set of flaps (14a-14d). A side of an end (16) of the flaps is arranged with a set of connection legs (17a, 17b) to cooperate with corresponding notches (18a, 18b) in one folding line separating two side walls to maintain the flaps and to stabilize the support after its assembly. The candle is of circular, square or polygonal section.
