The device (1) has an elastic return element (16) arranged in a case (6) to work in compression to push a pressing element (14) in a direction of a guided part (12) of a cam (4). The case comprises a housing to place the pressing and return elements. The housing opens adjacent to guidance openings (10, 11) and an external surface of the case. The pressing element is movable in translation in the housing in a translation direction (X18). The return element is formed in translation with the case in the direction such that the return element maintains the pressing element in the housing. The elastic return element is designed as a compression spring. An independent claim is also included for a car.
