The present invention relates to a semiconductor memory device and, more particularly, to a semiconductor memory device capable of improving an operation speed and reducing standby current consumption. The semiconductor memory device according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: a power source block which generates an internal power source based on an external power source applied through a power source pad; a circuit block which drives a memory cell by operating according to the internal power source; and a cam block which operates according to the external power source and stores set information for driving the memory cell. The cam block is always activated regardless of the operation mode of the semiconductor memory device.
