<p>A plant (10) for treating fluid products (12) obtained from an oil well (14), to produce a hydrocarbon product (42), comprises a series of separators (20, 30, 40) at progressively lower pressures, to which the fluid products are supplied in succession. A high pressure gas phase (21) is obtained from the separator (20) and is supplied to a flow restrictor (54) so as to undergo cooling through the Joule Thomson effect, and then passed to a NGL separator (55) to produce a natural gas liquid stream (56) and a gaseous natural gas stream (58). The natural gas stream (58) is then processed chemically, using a synthesis gas production unit (60), and a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis unit (66) to produce a synthetic crude oil (72). The synthetic crude oil (72) is supplied to one of the separators (20), and the natural gas liquid stream (56) is supplied to another of the separators (30); the pressure in the one separator (20) is greater than the pressure in the other separator (30).</p> |
