License plates having a data medium (20), which can be read out in a non-contact manner, must have an antenna (17). With known license plates (10), the antenna (17) is designed as an additional component. The invention proposes forming the antenna (17), which is associated with the data medium (20), from an electrically conductive part of the license plate (10) having a slot (18) provided therein. The antenna (17) thus becomes an integral part of the license plate (10). A separate antenna (17) is thus unnecessary. |
