PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize drive of protection flaps in a retractable equipment system for aircraft.SOLUTION: In a system 10 for retractable equipment that has movable protection flaps 38, a flap drive device 40 drives the flaps to optimally move while providing mechanical coupling between the flaps and the retractable equipment so that a common motor member 22, 24 can be used for driving both the equipment and the flaps. The drive device includes a cam 44 secured to a frame of the system and a cam follower 52 mechanically coupled to the retractable equipment 12 and to a flap drive member 72. The path followed by the retractable equipment is also optimized. |
