PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand pumping apparatus capable of sufficiently pumping sedimentary sand in a sedimentary sand pit and discharging it, even when a width-direction dimension of a settling basin is large.SOLUTION: A sand pumping apparatus 15 discharges sedimentary sand by pumping up the sedimentary sand in a sedimentary sand pit 12, which is formed on a basin bottom of a settling basin 11, together with water via a sedimentary sand suction pipe 16. An upper part of the sedimentary sand suction pipe is supported in a state in which a lower part of the sedimentary sand suction pipe can be oscillated along a longitudinal direction of the sedimentary sand pit. Driving means for oscillating the sedimentary sand suction pipe is provided. |
