摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, for a hybrid vehicle in which a driver can select a mode of giving priority to a fuel consumption of an engine or a mode of giving priority to a power consumption of a battery, a control apparatus for performing control resulting in a cruising range extension in any running mode selected by the driver.SOLUTION: A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle comprises a battery for storing power generated by a generator driven by an engine, a motor which operates by receiving stored power in the battery or generated power of the generator, a driving wheel driven by at least one of an output of the engine and an output of the motor, and control means which includes an inverter and a control unit. The control means controls actions of the engine, the generator and the battery to lower a charge amount of the battery to a first charge amount C1 when the charge amount of the battery is larger than the first charge amount C1 during running in a running mode of giving priority to a fuel consumption of the engine.
