PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharpening wheel that improves grinding performance in comparison with a resinoid grindstone and a fiber disc.SOLUTION: A resin coat layer 11 is provided on one surface of a base plate 2 in which abrasive grains 8 are bound together by a thermosetting resin. Abrasive grains 12 (smaller in grain size than the abrasive grains of the base plate) identical to or different from the abrasive grains of the base plate are implanted in the resin coat layer 11. The abrasive grains 12 are protruded from the resin coat layer 11. Thus, strength of the base plate is increased, and grinding at a tip of a grindstone can be performed. Since the abrasive grains are protruded, grinding performance is improved. |
