PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To associate an extension with an ideal program as a predetermined application, according to system configuration of an electronic apparatus or use condition of applications.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus which can execute a desktop application that is to be displayed on a desktop of a display screen and opens a file including an extension name in its file name, and a full-screen application that is to be displayed on a full screen of the display screen and opens a file including an extension name in its file name, comprises predetermined application setting means. On the basis of at least either system configuration of the electronic apparatus or use condition of the applications to be executed by the electronic apparatus, the predetermined application setting means selects the desktop application or the full-screen application as a predetermined application for opening the file, and associates the selected desktop application or full-screen application with the extension, or recommends the selected desktop application or full-screen application as a predetermined application associated with the extension. |
