1. A coaxial cable connector comprising:
an outer connector body; a female end of the connector is for engaging a male coaxial cable connector; the connector female end having a waveguide with an aperture for receiving a center conductor of a coaxial cable; wherein the diameter of the aperture is in the range 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm; and, wherein the waveguide is configured to shield connector body internals from ingress of radio frequency signals in the range of 1 to 1000 megahertz.
