The method for reporting traffic includes: an application acquiring network traffic thereof (S102); and the application reporting the network traffic (S104). By applying the present invention, the problem that a carrier is unable to learn the traffic demands of a user-side application at different time periods and unable to perform operation management according to the traffic use condition of the user-side application is solved, and the carrier can learn the traffic use condition of the user-side application from the network traffic reported by the application, and further performs operation and management on the network traffic according to the traffic use condition of a user, improving the monitoring to the network traffic. |
