PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of suppressing an overcurrent from being flown in a light source part, and to provide an illuminating fixture using the same.SOLUTION: In a lighting device 10, a light source part 20 having an LED element is detachable. The lighting device 10 comprises: a voltage converter 2 converting a DC voltage from a DC power supply part 1 into a predetermined DC voltage; a detection part 4 detecting the predetermined DC voltage applied to the light source part 20; a controller 3 controlling the voltage converter 2 so that a current Iflowing in the light source part 20 becomes constant; and a determination part 5 determining whether or not an output voltage Vof the detection part 4 is a preset first reference voltage Vor more. The first reference voltage Vis set to a voltage larger than the output voltage Vof the detection part 4 by a specified voltage, and set to vary later than variation of the output voltage Vof the detection part 4. The controller 3 stops an operation of the voltage converter 2 when it is determined that the output voltage Vof the detection part 4 is the first reference voltage Vor more by the determination part 5. |
