PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower head having a spraying face that is capable of being set as substantially same size as an assembly opening of a spraying plate formed on a shower head body, while achieving reduction in size.SOLUTION: A shower head includes: a box-like rectangular showering plate 1 having a lower opening in an upstream side and a plurality of showering holes h in a front side; a connection tube 2 having a flow discharging opening 15 inserted into a lower opening of the showering plate and a hose connecting portion connected to a shower hose; a shower head body 3 with front and lower sides thereof opened in which the showering plate and the connection tube are stored, the shower head body being a substantially rectangular case; and a cover 4 for closing a front opening 33 of the shower head body, the shower head further includes: grooves 40 on right and left inner faces 3a', 3b' of the shower head body; and protrusions 14 which engages with the grooves, the protrusions being provided on right and left outer faces 1b, 1c, in which the protrusions are provided so as to cross a water pressure direction on the showering plate at the time of water discharge, while a rear portion 14a of the protrusion is not positioned lower than a front portion 14b. |
