The invention relates to a spur differential gear, comprising a planet carrier which is provided to revolve around an axis of revolution and which is composed of a rim gear carrier and of a first and a second hub cover element. A flange structure, which is perforated by window segments and to which both hub cover elements are attached, is provided inside the rim gear carrier. A revolving planet pair is accommodated in each respective window segment and contradirectionally rotatably couples the output gears of the differential gear.
