The valve train (1) has two support elements (4) and a cam follower (3) i.e. rocker arm, supported to each other by a floating bearing. The cam follower comprises a middle recess for receiving a tap element (5) i.e. roller. The tap element is rotatably supported around an axis of movement in the middle recess. The support elements and the cam follower are movable to each other perpendicular to axis of movement. The cam follower is provided with a contact region for operation of a gas shuttle valve (7). The tap element is arranged along a longitudinal axis (9).
