<p>The present invention relates to a method for producing a molded article in a mold (1), particularly, a textile composite component which has a flat and thin wall. The above-described method includes: a) a step for providing the mold (1), wherein the mold (1) has a cavity (2) which has a nominal molding volume (V) for the insertion of a reaction mixture, the range of the cavity (2) is determined by at least one cavity wall section (3) which can be elastically deformed during the insertion of the reaction mixture, and the compression coefficient (K) of the cavity (2) is between 2,000 bar and 10,000 bar; b) a step for inserting the reaction mixture into the cavity (2), wherein the reaction mixture is inserted into the cavity (2) at said pressure, and the cavity volume increases to exceed the nominal molding volume (V) during the insertion of the reaction mixture due to the elastic deformation of the at least one cavity wall section (3); c) a step for solidifying the reaction mixture in the cavity (2); and d) a step for removing the finished molded article from the mold (1).
